INBF Northeast America poster

Have you seen the new cover of Natural Bodybuilder and Fitness?

Cover story-WNBF Power Team bring natural bodybuilding to NJ!

2012 INBF Northeast America poster

Kick off the 2012 season with a WNBF pro card! Overall winners get a WNBF pro card!

Sounds crazy to say that. To say that in the 3rd person that is. I use the term power couple because when Charlie Carolla and Mr Cheh Low promoted this show in 2007 they used Karen and I for the poster. Thought it fit and was pretty awesome! ;)

This is the poster for this year’s INBF Northeast America Bodybuilding and Figure Championships. It is a mock up of the what used to be Natural Bodybuilding & Fitness magazine.

A huge THANK YOU to T. Walsh over at atomimages.com for bringing my vision to reality.

click WNBF Power Couple
for the poster from the 2007 INBF Northeast America.

The photo was take right after Karen won the 2006 Best Body short division title and I earned the title Mr Fitness in the 2006 INBF Naturalmania. My thoughts- Karen looks amazing (as always) and how luck am I to be married to her? ;) Me- not so much. not my best shot, the fake smile is the start of it.

Want a 2011 INBF Northeast America poster for yourself, or your gym? that would be UH-MAZ-ING! email me Anthony@anthonymonetti.com and I will send one over to ya!

Thank so much  for your support!

Anthony and Karen!

I have been training instinctively now for ten years.  By instincts I mean, I go into the week not knowing which day will get dedicated to which muscle or muscle groups.  Something I was not used to in the early years. When I say early I refer to ages 18-24 .  I had structure with Nick. His obsessiveness with keeping track of our workouts became an important part of my learning how this whole body building process works.

I began to document. the workouts. my progress. what worked. what didn’t. We tried every style of training we could learn about.  I will talk about more of them in detail in time but for now something we always seemed to incorporate was a

“negative”  or time under tension week

A heavy-er week ensuring reps were kept  in the 6-8  range with a 5 second count on the eccentric muscle contraction or “negative” part of a selection of exercises

Here are some recent clips of my chest workout.  Don’t mind my weights. they are not of importance…
